About Our Assisted Living Facility
Our assisted living facility is a gated community, located the Southern Indiana town of Washington, that was established to give piece of mind to our members and their families. Re-live the days when you never locked your door at home. The 24 hour trained staff and 24 hour surveillance assures anyone coming into The Village or leaving The Village is approved traffic. Each member will have personal call pendant where they may summon immediate help 24/7 while maintaining the freedom they deserve to live a well-rested, safe and secure life.

Recall the inner smile that comes to each one of us that hears an old favorite song — that transports us back briefly to some special time or place — a high school dance, a prom date, a WWII canteen, a young newly wed couple … The Legend’s Village offers a tribute to the great American entertainers of the past. Each honored Legend hopefully will invoke a positive and pleasant memory of years gone by yet not forgotten.
Enriching Activities
Life enriching activities come alive at the Legend’s Village Assisted Living Facilities. Residents participate in hobbies, cultural events, education opportunities, religious activities, and interesting trips. New friends are made and relationships strengthened by spending enjoyable time together.
Enjoy the fresh air with friends in the tranquil Village Green Garden, or an ice cream treat from the Shirley Temple Ice Cream Parlor. Laugh with friends over a friendly game of cards in the gaming area. Catch a Classic Movie in our 33 seat in-door theatre with complimentary popcorn and refreshments.
Send E-mail to your grandchildren from out computer lab room. Shop the internet or just ‘surf’ the web — assistance is available if needed. Join a ‘coffee club’ for a brisk AM walk with friends followed by a cup of joe. Join in with our exercise sessions. Select a group monthly. Try your hand in our Euchre tourney (2nd Friday of each month). Try ballroom dancing: lessons given twice monthly and dances about every 6 weeks. Whether your getting your hair done in the Hepburn Hair and Nail Salon, or shopping out General Store for a Birthday Card, or taking a shopping trip to town, the Legend’s Village will keep you active.
